Don Harper
President
Don founded Orbit Design and wears a variety of hats including Marketing Strategist, Graphic Designer, and Applicaton Developer. His abilities span design for print and web as well as the creation of web applications for PHP / MySQL, ASP and SQL Server. He has over ten years in marketing and branding strategy, marketing team development and marketing process execution for a number of software companies such as Alias | Wavefront (Now Autodesk), Performaworks, Peopleclick, and ChannelAdvisor. Prior to his marketing experience, Don worked in the Design Process Engineering group for General Motors.
Don has a BFA in Industrial Design – Product and Automotive from the Center for Creative Studies, Detroit Michigan.
Alexandra Bot
Graphic Designer and Printing Specialist
Alexandra has a passion for clean design that communicates a clear message. For her, it is the process of striving to reach the best possible solution to a design problem that drives her. She brings a strong knowledge of print design and execution to the team. Prior to joining Orbit Design Works, she worked in New York as an in-house designer on Wall Street with Goldman Sachs and The Bank of New York.
Alexandra has a BFA in Communication Arts with a concentration in graphic design and photography from East Carolina University.
Nate Smith
Flash and Interactive Developer
Nate works out of Colorado and is responsible for the development of Flash components as needed by our clients. He is proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash and Flash Actionscript.
A graduate from Utah State University, Logan, Utah Nate has a Bachelor of Fine Art.
Laurie Zuckerman
Copywriter and Editor
Laurie Zuckerman is a writer who has been developing persuasive business communications for well over 10 years. She brings a belief that powerful communication is a matter of getting in the head of your audience, crafting key messages that hit home and tell a great story. Her clients have included technology giants such as IBM and Nortel Networks, as well as up-and-comers like ChannelAdvisor, SciQuest and IIS. Laurie got her start at a boutique public relations firm called WGA. She honed her skills at Brodeur Worldwide, one of the largest high-tech public relations firms in the world. Laurie also writes for business publications including MyBusiness Magazine and Business Leader.
Laurie graduated Cum Laude from the State University of New York with a B.A. in Literature/Rhetoric, writing communications emphasis, departmental honors.
